Triple Bottom Line Magazine is a specialized CSR Journal that exists to disseminate triple-bottom line knowledge to corporate, social developement and general business groups.  This year the publication released a Tracks and Trends in CSR Practices Study detailing the gradual shift in thinking about the concept of"CSR." The report says that "the traditional preview of 'CSR' being only 'corporate philanthropy' is gradually getting expanded to the well-being of people, care for the planet, and increased profits."

The Boston College Center has just released "Profile of the Profession: Corporate citizenship leaders for today and tomorrow", a report based on the Center's biennial survey highlighting the demographics, responsibilities, and salary information of corporate citizenship professionals. This report offers a snapshot of the job of a corporate citizenship professional, including their evolving job functions and data on the salary, benefits and background of today's practitioners.

Findings include:

  • 93 percent of those surveyed have a background in some other field or position.
  • Building internal partnerships was the most commonly cited (86.3 percent) job responsibility.
  • Women make up three-fourths of the respondents, but 49.7 percent of the men surveyed work at a senior or executive level compared to 26.9 percent of women.
